RIP Birdy - alley behind the 300 block of Parkland Place, SE

While looking for a possible memorial to Larry Wallace, who was killed nearby on April 7, 2015, I found this graffiti to "Birdy" in the alley behind the 300 block of Parkland Place SE, Washington DC.

A number of homicides have occurred in this block in recent years, and several have had memorials erected.

I was unable to determine which individual this particular memorial is for.

RIP Birdy.

Scooby's birthday shirt | 16th and F Streets NE, DC

While checking for a possible memorial for Tyrone Moore, who was killed in this block on March 22, 2015, I observed this tee shirt to a person named Scooby.

Some young men assured me that the shirt was for another person, who had been slain nearby some time ago.

It is possibly for Robert Mallory, 19, who was shot near the corner of 16th and F Streets NW, Washington DC on 7/16/08.
