Shrine to Marcus Robinson, 20, in the busy 3000 block of 14th St NW Washington DC
Mr. Robinson was shot Friday May 15th about 11 PM. He had lived in the 600 block of Morton St NW
Several people spoke to me regarding this shrine and of Mr Robinson- that he was a good person, a fine homey with a generally kind personality. One woman, resting near the shrine, said seing it "hurt her heart."

Marcus was my nephew and the person did this has no idea how he or she has effected so many lives! With each new day a new level of intensity and pain is felt. My sister life will never be the same. We miss him so much and just can't understand how life is of so little value these days. He was snatched from us like a thief in the night! NOTHING COULD HAVE PREPARED US FOR THIS!! It has been a little over three months since his tragic death and there seems to be no relief from the sorrow, pain, and discontentment we feel. May my dearest Marcus rest in peace. Your auntie love and miss you so much! I wish I would have had one last opportunity to tell you I love you, to hold you, and just be in your presence. This didn's happen and I will never have this opportunity and even though you have been ripped away from me physically you will always be in my thoughts and heart to never be forgotten!! Rest on my sweet, I love you!

Damn smh it seams like when someone dies all of a sudden there are sooooo many things that u wish u could do and say. Marcus im really at a lost for words i just found out that u were even gone. Mad how we left off hurt that i couldnt be there for u like i knw i could have been an i wanted to...... Man just really sitting back thinking of ur smile and those chinky eyes lol. Man I LOVE U!!!!!!!!! REST IN PARADISE BABE!!!!!!!!!!!! I knw we WILL see each other again.......
